Aligning Academia with Industry Standards

The gap between academic learning and industry practices has long been a challenge. Futures in Film is committed to establishing an industry connection with academia by linking them together.
By working with universities, film schools, and technical institutions as well as Industry Bodies, Professionals and Manufacturers: Futures in Film CIC ensures that academic learning is directly aligned with real-world industry expectations.

TRAINING

Hands-on Skills Training with Industry Tools

We provide applied, hands-on learning through industry-certified programs, equipping students to use RED Digital Cinema workflows, ARRI lighting, Helix Gimbals,, virtual production technologies and more. Our approach ensures students—especially neurodivergent learners and those unable to afford university—gain real-world skills in camera operation, lighting, and production workflows.

INDUSTRY
A Launchpad for Career Development

Facilitating over 1,000 industry placements, our fast-track model ensures students transition directly into HETV and feature film roles by developing specialised skillsets and introducing them to Industry Mentors. This has opened opportunities for On-Set Placements such as Paramount's ``Curfew``, BBC ``Wolf Hall`` and Knives Out 3.
